Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Workshop

On February 14, 2025, the Will-South Cook Soil and Water Conservation District hosted a Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Workshop at the District office in New Lenox. County Board members, Land Use staff, and contractors all had the chance to listen to a presentation from Todd Bennett of the Illinois EPA about the inspection process and best management practices on construction sites, as well as stormwater management.
